I stand by this reasoning, in a recent Muller commercial the guy even tries to get some yogurt and the lady moves it away as if they are saying “You will die.”

All I could ever think watching those commercials is “How does she eat that without smearing her lipstick?!”

You know, blueberry yogurt isn’t feminine; blueberry yogurt is very manly. The guy from Burn Notice eats it all the time which automatically makes it badass.

But he’s a spy! He’s highly trained in every aspect of life. Eating yogurt is his means of training his feminine side – he may need to show that side some day in some risky mission.

What about the time he duct-taped a vibrator to a window to fool laser mics? Would that be manly or feminine?

Why feminie? He didn’t use the vibrator on himself, did he?

And at least he memorized something from the “private training sessions” with Fiona. 😛

well, if he keeps a vibrator with him at all times, it would at least *seem* feminine

Did I already mention that he’s highly trained? The use of a vibrator may be mission critical – even if nobody expected him to do it that way… 😉

This is weirdly true. There aren’t even any adverts that work on the basis that “Dude’s can totally eat this to! Seriously! It’s a great energy source (or something)!”

Whereas I’ve seen at least one advert for a cleaning product that had men doing the cleaning, even if the basis of the advert was. “We want to watch the football but we need to clean the mess we made cooking dinner first.” “Don’t worry! We’ve got Flash! We can get it done during half time!”

Incidentally my Dad drinks those One-a-day symbiotic yogurts every day.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Uwux-E63rU – that’s a commercial of a yogurt specially made for men. And a guy consumes it! I have yet to try it.

Should I bring up all the John Stamos Greek Yogurt commercials, though I’m not sure he counts!

I second this. John Stamos’s commercial does count in my book. He may have some feminine qualities, but not enough that I see him as a lady.

    Love that second panel!

Incidentally, the “pH balanced for women” reference might be lost on the younger folk.

    Poor younger folk…

Aside from using it in Lassi obviously, I really only use (Greek) Yogurt *in* cooking, or as a superior replacement for Sour Cream. So, yeah, come to think of it, I *am* male, and huh… I do not recall having eaten Yogurt as itself since I was a small child….

Well, it certainly is an interesting question… but… I’d say giving Sapir-Whorf as an answer is just a tiny bit far-stretched :,D

You may want to avoid soy milk than, it got things pretty similar to Female hormones, and Tofu makers grow little hand hair because of this.

Maybe the key isn’t that the spokesperson is always a woman, but that she’s always sitting in a weird pose. Maybe yogurt doesn’t slide down as smoothly if you’re sitting up straight.
