Nice rope a dope !
These guys have their priorities straight.
Garbageman fan something can can can? I don’t know the lyrics to a semi classic. Sue me. xD Wonderful comic as usual.
hahaha, I’ve had this conversation before. XD
I am refreshed to see him break from his normal formula and not get mild to meh comments. I thought this one was great on both of those accounts. Good on ya.
Thanks! I’m interested in breaking away from that formula more often just to mix things up.
Today’s stip may not have had a narration but you could say that Bug is kinda saying out loud what he’d normally narrate so it’s not too much of a stretch. The bigger change IMO is the punchline in the last panel.
One of my favorites!
@Tinari I actually was missing the narrations. I still like today’s, of course, but I still prefer the usual style.
That was actually hilarious.
I’ve had that same convo about plumbers. One more point for garbage men: their work double as a full body work out so no need for a gym subscription.
Poor bug, he just can’t win.
conclusion, all jobs suck
Do I have to pay extra for the 5th panel?
Nice break from the norm, and still hilarious!
Don’t know why, but I really love the 4th panel.
This one actually had me laughing out loud. I don’t know why, but I found this hilarious. Maybe it’s the change in the formula?
a nice moment of friendship between the two, before glasses bug tries to kill him or abuse him again
Well, you know what they say…
Eight dollars an hour and all you can eat.
Oddly enough, I had almost this exact same conversation with my hubby a couple of weeks ago lol. I was bug :p
This feels so Bloom County-ish.
I take that as a compliment.
Dingbat co-workers, sales clerks, tech support, etc. you are all dingbats. This is why I don’t want to go to even when I die. Spend an eternity with the dingbats?
Hell is other people. Unless they have boobs.
Heaven, not “even”. Dingbat iPad.
This particular strip feels sort of “Foxtrot”-y to me. It is/was one of my favorite newspaper comics.
And although I find structural immunity to traffic accidents to be an appealing prospect, depriving me of sleep is still grounds for mutilation in my book.
Why get up? If I worked early mornings like them, I’d stay up all night and go to sleep after work.
