Rock crusher maybe an awesome addition to the workplace. But remember, that kind of workplace also had snakes, like, thousands of em.

Actually they’d be insects and all other kinds of bugs.

It’s always been weird to me that Short Round said that. Fortune cookies were apocryphally invented somewhere between 1914 and 1919, and probably in San Francisco.

Temple of Doom is set in 1935, and Short Round had never been to America. It wasn’t even a common addition to Chinese cuisine in America until somewhere around 1947. Odds are he’d never seen a fortune cookie or would know what to do with one if he had.

When he said, “Shiva be praised!” I began to read Bug’s voice in a Indian accent, before failing midway because I realized I didn’t know what his regular accent sounds like.

What DOES Bug’s voice sound like, Adam? Is there any celebrity you think would make a good approximation?

Probably just a simple American accent.

My mental narrative as I read Bug usually sounds like Home Simpson. 🙂

Sean Connery, Christopher Walken, and Steve Martin are the voices that always come to mind when I read your comics. Believe it or not, nerd bug is typically the Sean Connery. And female bug is typically Jane Lynch is the voice I usually think of for girl bug.

        Eh. I guess I’m weird.

I imagine him sounding like Oogie Boogie’s bugs without his burlap sack on, all squeaky and weird.

Ever since Geeks of Steel went live, I hear Bug talking with Adam’s voice – and nerd bug with Matt’s voice…

      …I guess that’s a compliment?
