Most other webcomic artists would take the week off. Thank you for thinking of us before yourself.

Get well soon. Also I notice Bug in the first panel looks like early comic Bug (a little bit thicker). Maybe the drugs alter your drawing skills?

Further proof that great artists suffer for their work. I look forward to hearing tales of the glorious fever dreams of your great voyage, Captain! And may the begonia sandwiches of Mars not exfoliate your elbows!

I’m trying to influence your hallucinations through the power of suggestion. Is it working?

Imagine Bug comics drawn under certain drug substance. I wonder what’s the result will be.

Drugs and whiskey. Do drink many fluid ounces of whiskey. Combined with the right drugs you’ll feel better in two weeks. No whiskey or drugs? You’ll feel better in two weeks.

When Mark Twain had a bad cold, a friend suggested he drink a pint of whiskey. Another friend suggested he drink a pint of whiskey. Well, Mark reasoned, that made a quart….

Hope you’re feeling better soon, but remember how it felt so you can draw it.

I choose to believe the reason the button won’t depress in the last panel is because he’s pressing the flat plastic part you’re supposed to hold.

    Hey, I gotta know:

The word “depress” in the last panel, is it supposed to mean “press” (as in “to press down”) or “unpress” (as in “to allow to pop back up”)?

I’ve been asked this question by people who speak English as a second language, and I was never sure of the answer.

How is it being used here?

It means “press” in this context. I’ve never heard of it being used as the opposite.

      According to Dictionary.com it means:

“to put into a lower position”

Thank you so much, everyone, for all the well-wishes! I’m finally getting better.

It was a lot like being Han Solo; Friday I was tortured by Darth Vader, Saturday I was frozen in carbonite, and Sunday I was blind and stumbling into bounty hunters. I should be hanging out with Ewoks by Thursday at the latest.

That very odd moment when you realize that bug is kinda.. naked.. through this whole series and that the black/white would be the coloration of his back and underside and not a shirt xD

That would explain the lack of a podcast this weekend, unless Matt’s comic explains the reason, or BOTH. Get well before the next episode! You have Oscars to discuss!
