I think “Whatever. You know I’m a hero.” would make a good t-shirt.

The eyebrows and the half-closed eyes. I too, would buy this shirt. It would have to be really, really large though. Like 6X or 7X. Really.
Yeah I know, ’tis sad but true.

You know that “my beautiful balloon” song? It was originally written as the theme song for a movie about hot air balloons. The movie never got made, though, probably because the producers realized it would be about as exciting as this.

In Germany, when you say you fly in a balloon, the balloonist will always correct you: A hot-air balloon is an airship, and ships don´t fly, they …ummm …the german word for drive but that sounds kinda wrong …travel maybe?

Well, I started typing it into google as my surrogate spell-checker and that’s what I came up with. According to them it is from an old ad campaign for Volkswagon meaning “driving pleasure”. I knew it didn’t fit, but thought it was funny anyway.

Well done Adam, not many people can make me hear voices, but I sure did hear the Movie Anouncer Guy loud and clear… though, I think his bolster of this movie would have gotten people to go see it… XD

You know, Edgar Allan Poe wrote a short story about someone flying to the moon in a hot air balloon (but 90% of the story was just the pre-landing flight) and it was actually enjoyable to read, so maybe that would make a good movie…

Alternate ending: the balloon crashes into a building. “OHMYGODI’MGONNACRAAAAASH*bump*” *balloon just kinda sits there and gradually falls to the ground*

I would watch the hell out of that movie. Which makes it a good that it doesn’t seem to have a lot of hell in it, because it really doesn’t seem like a good movie.

    Good work as always!

I am happy to note that I pressed the Voice Search button on my cellphone, yelled “HOW TO LAND A HOT AIR BALLOON!” in a frantic voice, and it came up with http://www.ehow.com/how_2051461_land-hot-air-balloon.html (which is in the form of a checklist, on the mobile version).

Would a hedge count as a ground crew?

You know this will be made eventually. Hollywood’s that desperate for new material, and if Hungry Hungry Hippos is happening…

I don’t think it’ll be this hilariously awful, though. They’re probably make it about the DRAMA of two guys going crazy and trying to not eat each other while they lazily drift over some mountains. Or the ocean. With explosions. And they pick up a chick eventually for pointless romance.
