Awww, that’s a weirdly sweet moment in the last panel.

(Quick note: Missing a comma in Panel 1, after “breast men”. :))

      Damn, I’m too slow.

I found a typo in Sluggy Freelance today, can I report it here too? This comment field is much more fun than over there.

I think heterosexual women are divided into: facial hair women and no facial hair women.

Well, since men aren’t quite so objectified as women, it’s kind of hard to tell what the majority of women go for. As a woman who’s observed her species with interest, I’m fairly certain it’s mostly muscles and hair (hair of all kinds, but mostly the head kind); but then, I’m weirdo, so who knows how good my word is?

All I know for certain is: I never like the same things other girls like (I’m drawn to scrawny, dorky-looking people with big ears or noses, gingers, pallor, etc…not normal).

Muscles/build and facial hair are the main factors for me too. I prefer lean guys with nothing beyond a little stubble.

Women change their minds a lot.
    Do not bother keeping track.

And when they are ovulating they all gravitate towards more masculine men than whatever their baseline preference happens to be that year.

It is true, though. There are studies that suggest this. Women do unconsciously gravitate to certain kinds of men when they’re ovulating. Not necessarily masculine, just whomever is the most genetically different from her.

In all seriousness, I think women tend to be attracted to base body types. Muscular, skinny, tall, short, etc. Hair colour and all does have some say in the matter but after that, the catagories are not quite so broad. For instance, I’m into tall, dark-haired men who are a little lax in the shaving. Not a full beard or anything, but I love me some stubble. How would to sum that type up in a couple of words though?

Well, I started watching football for one reason: guys in tight pants bending over. The fast receivers, not the 350-pound linemen. I’ve found other reasons since, but that was the main one.

Truth to tell, I pity the man who can’t find and focus on at least one attractive feature on any woman. In a lifetime of observation, I’ve found very few exceptions to the “All women are beautiful.” rule.

Last panel really made me laugh, also ‘foot men’. Always loved your work.

Small typo, first panel. “There’s three types of men” is just short for “there is three types of men”, when it should be “are”. You may have purposefully done this to make it sound like a person talking, even though not grammatically correct.

Damn… now my comment is mostly correction and not as much appreciation…
    well then…

No worries. I appreciate polite corrections – and you’re right, it should be “there are.” I’m usually good at catching that kind of typo. Oh well, I’ll get around to fixing that eventually. Thanks for catching that.

Funny how straight guys always want to assert that dudes aren’t attractive. To anyone, I mean. There have been numerous stand-up comedy routines about this (always by dudes, I think): men are gross and hairy and nobody could ever desire one, women are curvy and smooth and awesome, blah blah blah.

Let me try to say this as simply as possible: men don’t seem attractive to YOU. Because…you…are…a…straight…MAN.

I’m a straight woman. That means, by its very definition, that I’m ATTRACTED TO MEN. And for me, it’s both extremely visceral and extremely visual. When I think a guy is hot I have a very hard time not staring. I have swivelled my head right around when a hot guy walked by.

I would NOT swivel my head if a rotten pumpkin walked by. Well, okay, I would, but only because OMGWTF AMBULATORY PUMPKIN.

Far as I know, there’s “Facial hair women” (straight women who like facial hair), “Height women” (straight women who like tall men), and “Cash women” (straight women who like financial stability).
