Ive always wondered what the conversion scale for “throwing distance” to trustworthiness was. Like, is 5 meters about a 23 trustworthiness? And how do you even quantify that?

It’s a ridiculous idea yet I will always use the term.

I never understood the phrase (and this may be an English one) ‘I wouldn’t piss on you if you were on fire’…’cos…how is that a bad thing?

If someone was on fire, any liquid is better than none, so it’s saying you hate someone so much you’d avoid a legitimate excuse to piss on them, just because it might help them.

Still, I think I would just rather stop, drop and roll.

I don’t know any Poles who are ten feet tall, a few over 6′ 5″ but none ten feet.

How did ‘trust’ come to involve the metrics of distance in the first place?

I’d say in these situations, keep them as far as you can throw them?

I’d rather throw people I don’t trust. I’d say Adam’s got the right idea in panel 4– though if that’s Niece Bug, her revenge is likely to be swift and painful.

I didn’t do sports in school, so I throw “like a girl” or “like a wimp” depending on who I’m offending

Most people don’t have a consistent trust-to-weight ratio.

The Title could also double for a Title for an episode of Community.

That’s why there’s three ranks of trust:

Least trust: “I trust you as far as I can throw you”
Average trust: “I trust you with a lightbulb”
Most trust: “I trust you with my life”
