And Kilometres sounds like either a killer robot’s name or a fat dude.

I cannot fathom why you didn’t mention Mark Twain, (which can sound both cool and dorky at the same time)….. <.<

I was gonna say “mile” is actually used in the metric system as well (meaning 10 kilometers), though upon closer look it seems like it’s just up here in the Nordic countries. So I suppose we’re the odd ones out in this case.

Yeah, metric here too and we dont have anything larger than a km until we reach astronomical distances.

Plus the 10km version is spelled slightly differently (“mil” in Norway; not sure how it is in other countries), and pronounced more like “meel” instead of “myle”.

Oh come on, you didn’t do paladin yet! I demand more D&D comics!

Although any Bug comic is hilarious, so in the end, I really don’t care what the subject is.

Hailing from a metric-using country, I should make a comment about kilometers… but I owe somebody 50gp, so all I can think about is how many kilometers I need to travel to buy 25 Scrabble sets.

AWWW! I wanted to see your take on Bards and Barbarians and Druids and…

Okay, there are a LOT of classes you haven’t yet covered as far as “Dumb Dumbs and Dragons” goes.

I wanted to comment on how “mile” is actually also a part of the Metric system (meaning ten kilometers), however it appears that only us Nordics use the word that way. So I suppose we’re the odd ones out in that case.

I wanted to tell you that “miles” is also incorporated in the metric system, meaning ten kilometers, but apparently that’s just us Nordics who use it in that way. I suppose we’re the odd ones out in this case.

I just think it’s adorable that the USA decided to honour its English and French roots by sticking to the avoir-du-poids system of pounds and inches.

And yet Miles Vorkosigan is a sci-fi hero, and I don’t know anyone named Fathoms…

“Miles” sounds like the sidekick to a video game hedgehog.
