But can he shoot fire out of his nose? Ordinary people (or Bugs, in this case) can't shoot fire out of their noses. Try tricking him into lighting a candle with his nose.

I remember when I was a very young lad, I thought adults got the summer off of their jobs. After all, I got summer out of school, why shouldn't they get out of their jobs for three months.

      Foolish, foolish me.

I live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. In minus 40 Celcius weather, this Jamaican guy walks by and says "all my life I have sun and sand. Now I have snow! Isn't it wonderful?" How messed up is that?

I hear ya. With our rough Siberian climate (yea i'm a russky) minus 40 degrees Celsius is something people are used around here.

Well here's one for ya! Unless you travel buy bus/subway/other means just keep another coat/hat in the car you drive to work in and leave the coat you walked in with on your chair's back rest ( and leave the rest of the gear -scarf/hat/globes in the office too) and just rough it up till you get to the car.

Then, be on your way to the nearest joint for a cuppa coffee or a beer! :))

The boss was telling him that he had to go to one of those meetings that are all about teamwork. The kind of meeting where employees are separated into groups and given activities to do.

I have to tell you a story about that: years ago when I worked for the Ontario gov't we had one of those days. Our group of 30 was given a "logic puzzle" (ya know, "Bob never eats cats. Becky dates someone who shaves dogs. Alex is taller than Becky's mom." and ending with "Who fraternized with the salamander?"). Each person in our group was given one "clue" with the idea that we'd have to work together to share clues and solve it. No-one wanted to do the exercise. However, I've always had a knack for those sorts of puzzles so I said, "Everyone give me your clue." Then, while they all chatted, I took ten minutes and solved it, and presented the answer to the HR person running she session. She said, "That's the fastest it's ever been solved." My manager said, "There's the lesson – don't waste time trying to force group work; give the task to the person most suited." (He was a surprisingly cool manager.)

    Hey Adam,

I was wondering what you used to make the Random button for your website. I ask because sometimes I press it and it takes me to the same comic several times in a row, and I usually only get the same comics very often. I find that I rarely get a different comic from the ones I normally get through the random button. It could be my luck. I understand making a truly random system is very difficult, so I'm definitely not criticizing you. I'm just curious.

    Thanks,

    Jazzy

True randomness often has repetition; take pi, for example.

I've just spent the past few days reading through the archives and I've gotta say this is my new favorite webcomic. I love how you write it so that we get a laugh out of every panel. Keep up the great work.
