Nano-youngster might make a poo the size of his arm into a brain cell…

If the robot booted Niece Bug, it’s going to regret that. A Nerf gun is not what she packs. (Reminds me of the cat Cybil in the Lio cartoon, who not only shredded the vet but raided the place for drugs.) Niece Bug has made me regard all little girls with a cautious eye.

I always hated that line. Like 40 watts was gonna do more than cause somebody to feel warm. Okay, combine it with a bunny-thrower and then they’d feel warm *and* fuzzy, but that’s all you’d get.

40 watts of power, concentrated into a very small area, can do a lot of damage.

      It’s all about power/area.

Yep, a 40 watt laser beam with the spot size of a regular laser pointer can burn you to death in a number of different ways, very very quickly.

I don’t know how quickly it would burn you to your death, but it’s certainly pretty dangerous: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XsNsM4HDx-c

The fact that it would cauterize any wounds it made might mitigate the lethality, but that doesn’t mean you’d wanna goof around with one.

Seeing as a brief unfocused pulse made the wood burst into flames, pretty darn quickly.

Maybe children will *become* robots. It’d probably start with self-cleaning babies – there has to be a huge market for that.

Today, they conquer dirty diapers. Tomorrow, the world!

…well, tomorrow, then the day after. Today they’re just smelly little flesh-lumps.

I would note Ray Bradbury’s “Zero Hour”.

They ARE working on nano-youngsters. Its an undeniable fact that children get smaller (and dumber) every year.

No, they just seem dumber as you get older, because they haven’t yet done the stupid stuff that you’ve already done.

Nor have they yet done the stupid stuff that I’VE already done.
