Esther Gildowitz is my great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandma! She was bad for launching sleds airborne in real life as well. Reply You're an ass on June 23, 2011 at 5:46 am Too many greats. Reply LoveTheBadGuy on June 13, 2011 at 12:17 am Awww! Little Bug is so cute (even when contemplating the use of tombstones as ramps). Reply Jep on June 13, 2011 at 12:41 am There’s actually a church not far from where I live that has a cemetery on hill. Reply Terry Wagar on July 27, 2011 at 1:08 pm Wow, actually??? Reply Jen. R. C on June 13, 2011 at 1:36 am The last panel made me choke on my Dr. Pepper, Well done indeed. 😀 bd Reply Will on June 13, 2011 at 1:38 am I live on a hill, next to a cemetery. but we are both at the top, looking down on the town. Its ok though, we are on the emergency helicopter flight path which could be handy in a zombie apocalypse. Reply ninelen on June 13, 2011 at 1:45 am I would kill to see a zombie movie where the zombies rose from the ground and screamed out “sumbitch.” Reply GW on June 13, 2011 at 3:31 am It’d be pretty disgusting when it rains though. The water from the hill would flow underground, to your drinking water. Reply Smart Person on January 10, 2012 at 6:28 pm That’s not how the drinking water reserves work. Reply Quaxy on June 13, 2011 at 3:58 am You mean Norman Needleham the inventor of the improvised sledding ramp? Reply Shaun on June 13, 2011 at 4:54 am “SUMBITCH!” Nearly cost me a new keyboard – nice work Adam! Reply AdInfinitumSpero on June 13, 2011 at 5:19 am Except the way it works in real life you’d have to be a pallbearer UP hill Reply ⬡ on June 14, 2011 at 11:43 am Just make sure to rush any dying people to the top of the hill. Reply findus on June 13, 2011 at 5:42 am another way to make good use of the dead you’ll be pleased to know that I’ve taken it as a personal misson to spread the word of bug in my area, the people must be told! Reply Adam on June 13, 2011 at 7:31 am Thanks a lot! Reply lawndartcatcher on June 13, 2011 at 6:50 am “Nothin’ but grave”. Genius. Reply tregarth on June 13, 2011 at 7:24 am Last panel – GOLD! Reply geekGirl on June 13, 2011 at 7:32 am Thanks for making my Monday start with a laugh! Reply That Chick on June 13, 2011 at 8:10 am This is definitely one of your funniest strips. Each panel is truly laugh out loud funny. Reply Meg on June 13, 2011 at 9:25 am I laughed SO HARD. My roommates and I keep saying “nothing but grave” LOL! Reply Adam on June 13, 2011 at 9:35 pm Sa-WEET! Reply Turbo Sloth on June 13, 2011 at 9:57 am Coffin surfing USA Reply Tom on June 13, 2011 at 11:05 am The only downside (get it?) I can think of is one good rain and it’s Poltergeist. Reply iamninzen on June 13, 2011 at 11:32 am Your comic has filled a void left in my soul when Watterson stopped producing Calvin and Hobbes. Your stuff usually makes me laugh out loud and that is so rare these days. The way you write and your style of joke telling reminds me a lot of a friend I had in high school who was a good artist and writer and I usually end up seeing him sitting there, drawing Bug and coming up with the humor. That’s probably why I love this strip so much! Keep up the great work! Oh yeah, SUMBITCH!!! Reply Adam on June 13, 2011 at 9:37 pm Thanks! That really means a lot to me. Reply DGMarx on June 13, 2011 at 12:48 pm Best one in a while, this is hilarious. Reply Emily on June 13, 2011 at 3:59 pm weird, there’s a graveyard in town that everyone does go sledding on. Reply anon on June 23, 2011 at 2:53 pm Thats messed up and a ittle disrespectful imo Reply GeekGamerGirl on June 13, 2011 at 5:06 pm The last panel made me laugh right out loud. *wants a zombie Bug with a pull string that says “sumbitch!” now* Reply GunGun on June 13, 2011 at 5:47 pm Most cemetaries I am aware of are built on hillsides… then again, this is new england. everything is a hillside. Reply Raven on June 13, 2011 at 6:03 pm Always thinking, Adam! Yet one more way to thwart the zombie invasion. Reply skip on June 13, 2011 at 6:49 pm Adam, I think you should have a disclaimer: “Please swallow any liquids or thoroughly chew and swallow any foods before reading the following comic… failure to do so may cause damage to keyboards and/or egos.” Reply Adam on June 13, 2011 at 9:38 pm Heck no. One of my favorite things to do when I was growing up was to make my friends laugh and spit out their drink. Reply Bethluvsbooks on June 13, 2011 at 11:35 pm Man, my first thought when I saw the title was ” It could be used against zombies”. I don’t know whether to be proud or ashamed. Reply Frances on June 14, 2011 at 12:16 am Both 😛 Reply Matsuo on June 14, 2011 at 5:32 pm You sire, are my new hero! Reply KrayzePenguin on June 14, 2011 at 11:57 pm Amazing! Reply Hjörtur Hjartarson on June 15, 2011 at 8:47 am HEHE.. Well Done Reply Shibby on June 16, 2011 at 6:23 pm You could also thwart the zombies by standing at the top of the hill and rolling bowling balls down, just incase gravity didn’t get them first time round. Reply Shark Zombie on June 18, 2011 at 12:10 am BWA-HA-HA! Reply Calvin K on June 24, 2011 at 2:02 pm I know a cemetery that’s built partially on a hill, but the hill flattens out into a section that’s easily crossable for zombies. What’s more is that the fence is 8-10 feet tall with spikes on top, the gates are even taller and lock securely, and there’s people who live inside the gates. So pretty much if the zombie apocalypse spreads to there, those people are scroooooooood. What’s bad about the partially-hilly cemetery is that all the headstones/footstones are either funky designs that would screw up a sled, or they’re set straight up even if they’re on the hill, providing a disappointing lack of ramps. So generally, the cemeteries near here are bad for being comparable to Bug, but they’re awesome to wander around in at night. Reply Hoshi Sanada on August 16, 2012 at 7:45 pm 0.o; Why in the world would anybody live in a cometary? Creeeeepy. Something tells me they’d be looking forward to zombies or be responsible … xD Reply Daroob on July 2, 2011 at 10:17 am I love the play on words in the title! Reply Kaly on July 11, 2011 at 3:59 am I found this very offensive and rude. Cemeteries are for the respectful burial of a loved one. not for some one or something in this case to mock it’s existence. Reply Joseph on July 27, 2011 at 1:10 pm I too am offended. I will chat with Jesus about having this website deleted. Reply Me on October 7, 2011 at 10:06 am …This comic had Hitler as a background character in a few strips (the ones about movies). Reply Shapewear on July 11, 2011 at 9:42 am Time to make new grave’s on hills Reply avisioncame on July 13, 2011 at 3:28 pm sigh….anyone else sick of zombie popularity yet? Reply Iforwhat on December 19, 2011 at 4:11 pm Nope. Reply Hoshi Sanada on August 16, 2012 at 7:47 pm Zombie-Bugs are funny though, and I hate zombies. Adam does a good job with them, despite their over use in the media. Also, Zombies don’t scare me. They lurch and can be smelled in advance for a good distance. To me they are simply mummies without clout. xD Reply Submit a Comment Cancel reply Your email address will not be published.
